A history of expertise, innovation and quality

In 1998, the company founded INKAS® Finance Corp. to take advantage of developing opportunities in the ATM and POS marketplaces.  Supplying ATM and POS products and services was a logical extension of the INKAS® Group of Companies business plan as the Company was then able to bundle cash management services with installation, servicing and transaction processing.  

In 1999, the company founded INKAS® Manufacturing which initially offered safes and grew to include armoured vehicle manufacturing. 

Currently the company is able to offer clients and services a broad scope of security, ATM, and POS-related products and services.  As an integrated security products and services supplier, the INKAS® Group of Companies is able to offer small, mid and national clients a “one-stop” source of high quality security and cash management products at an extremely competitive price.

The company’s principal offices are located at 64 Signet Drive in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The current 60,000 square foot head office, warehouse and manufacturing space is adequate for the company’s next five years of projected operations. 

The INKAS® Group Companies also has a sales and service office in Gatineau, Quebec and INKAS® Security operates out of a facility in Concord, Ontario.

Since 1996, the INKAS® Group has achieved a number of significant operating and financial milestones:

• 1996 INKAS® Security Services Ltd. was founded to provide armoured courier service specializing in ATM cash loading and cash-in-transit (“CIT”) deposit services.  INKAS® Security Services Ltd. continues to operate solely in the Ontario marketplace.
• 1998 INKAS® Finance Corp. was founded to offer ATM and POS hardware, software and associated services.  Initially focusing on the Ontario market, INKAS® Financial Corp. today has ATMs and POS terminals in place across Canada.
• 1999 INKAS® Manufacturing was founded as a logical extension of the security services the company provided.  INKAS® Manufacturing initially offered a proprietary line of standard and customized safes.
• 2001 INKAS® Financial Corporation Limited was founded to deploy a network of ATMs and POS terminals across the United Kingdom.
• 2004 INKAS® Manufacturing expanded its operations to include armoured car manufacturing to leverage the experience and expertise with safes in order to manufacture armoured vehicles for INKAS® Security Services Ltd. and external customers internationally.
• 2004 INKAS® Financial Corporation Limited was sold to TRM (ATM) Limited.
• 2004 the INKAS® Group of Companies opened a sales and service office in Gatineau, Quebec to further expand penetration in the Quebec marketplace.
•  2004 the INKAS® Group acquired a 60,000 square foot facility to house the corporate offices and company headquarters in Toronto, Ontario.
• 2005 the INKAS® Group enters into an agreement with Rym in order to secure a public vehicle to fund expansion.
• 2005 the company completes private placement.
• 2005 INKAS® Finance secures its first ATM Managed Service contracts to supply and fully manage the vault cash and cash loading of ATMs for two Canadian ATM companies with a total of 150 locations.
